2018 Summer workout schedules UPDATE

Summer football workout information
No workout Friday July 13th this week & off next week July 16-July 20th.  Workouts will start again July 23rd-July 26th.  Please check in before 7:30 we are going to push to be on the field by 7:45AM

Football will be back home at Trojan Stadium on Spring Drive starting on Monday, July 9th. Check in will be at the practice field starting at 7:30 am. It is very important that players meet and stay at the practice field and the parking lot by the practice field. As of right now we will not have access to any of the buildings on campus; and this includes the field house. Please plan for rides to pick up by 10:15 at the field because there will not be anywhere to go inside. There is a plan in place if by some chance we get weather. If you have any questions, or are not on the email list, please email rlee3@wcpss.net

Jonah and Randolph Ross claim State titles

Trojan track sophomore Jonah Ross claims 100m & junior Randolph Ross claims the 400m title at the 2018 NCHSAA 4A State Championship Track MeetMiss Ross posts 24.25 for 2nd in her 200m. Mr. Ross adds 2nd place finish in the high jump with 6-8 & 3rd in the 200m to earn MVP honors. His 4x100 relay team (Alexander Nunley, Ross, Prestige Bellamy and RJ Terryearns runner-up with 41.85 & freshman Nunley claims 4th in the 110m hurdles with personal best 14.59 for the freshman.  Indoor State Champion & Charlotte track commit Terry posts 10.90 in the fastest NCHSAA finals ever with six runners less than 11 seconds. Nunley records 42.17 in the 300m hurdles & the Lady Trojans 4x400 relay team posts 4:10.93 at the elite meet.

The siblings earn Garner 19th individual state championship. (Randolph won high Jump & 500m titles at the 2018 State Indoor championship to claim MVP honors). His three individual track championships trails only Trojan Hall of Fame inductee and current CFL All-Star Brandon Banks who claimed four titles in 2006

Trojans playoff run ends in NCHSAA East semifinals

After two upsets over high seeds, 14-seed Garner falls 4-2 in the NCHSAA 4A fourth round to SWAC foe Apex. Dylan Wheeler pitches 5.33 innings of relief with 2Ks and future South Carolina Gamecock Xavier Bussey 3 hits for the Trojans who season ends 19-8. Garrett Capaforte & Jackson Mitchell two hits each & Graham Wilkins single, RBI.
